I work on MedTraveling, a site for comparing treatment abroad. The part I would want to discuss with family is the actual quote: does it cover accommodation for a companion, or only the patient? And who handles a booking change if the dates move?
I am sharing our clinic comparison page as a starting point. A comparison site cannot confirm what a particular clinic will include in your booking. I would still ask for that in writing before arranging the trip.
